Who is selling

KIOS is a label of Cajal Bodies, a studio in Tanjung Bira, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Cajal Bodies is the seller of every piece on this site and is responsible for your order. Cajal Bodies is not yet a registered company and trades as a sole proprietorship, and card payments are processed by Stripe.

Made to order, in drops

Nothing is printed until a drop closes. Each chapter opens for orders on a set date, stays open for about two weeks, then closes and goes to print. The ship-by date is shown on the piece, at checkout and on your receipt. It is a promise, not an estimate: if we cannot keep it, we tell you before the date with a new date and the option of a full refund.

Edition numbers follow the order in which pieces are paid for within a drop. One checkout is one edition.

Prices and payment

Prices are set per currency (US dollars, Malaysian ringgit, and Indonesian rupiah for delivery within Indonesia) and are not converted from one another. The currency is chosen by the country you ship to. You are charged in full when you order, on Stripe's own payment page. We never see your card number.

Shipping is a flat fee by zone. For the United States, import duty is added at checkout and paid by us on your behalf. Everywhere else, any import charges are paid by you on delivery. The detail is on the shipping and duties page.

Changing your mind

Until the drop closes, you can cancel for a full refund, no reason needed. Write to us with your edition number. After the drop closes your piece is in production and has been made for you, so from then on we offer a size swap, or a refund if the piece arrives with a defect.

Defects and size swaps

If a piece arrives damaged, misprinted or not what you ordered, send a photo within 14 days of delivery and we will replace it or refund it, including the shipping you paid. If the size is wrong for you, tell us within 14 days of delivery; we swap it for another size from the same drop while we have blanks, and you pay only the return postage.

Delivery

Every parcel is tracked and the tracking link is sent to you when it ships. Risk passes to you on delivery. If a parcel is lost in transit we send another at our cost.

Your data

We keep what an order needs: your name, email, shipping address and what you bought. Stripe keeps your payment details. See the privacy page.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia. Nothing in them takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
